Map report can provide visual insight into the feedback you have received on a map based project.

To access your Map Report;

  • Log in to your Social Pinpoint Admin site

  • Follow the guide below to configure the various settings and options.

Select the project you would like to report on by clicking the title.

Select 'Project Reports' at the top of the screen.

On the left, you will see the option of 'Map Report'. Select this to open up your interactive map in report mode.

By default, you will see the current state of your map which will include any publicly visible comments.

You will have the option to;

  • Toggle comment types on/off

  • Search for keywords in comments

  • Tags - ability to filter comments displayed on the map by tags you have created

  • Adjust the timeframe of the feedback you want displayed

  • Load any moderated comments

  • Display a heatmap and edit heatmap visual settings

When viewing the heatmap, comment pins will disappear and will be replaced by a visual representation of clustered areas of comments.

This view remains interactive so you are able to toggle on/off comment types or search for keywords and the map will change.

This map will also change based on the zoom level and location you are viewing.
